Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 clients including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with commentary
- Lead tax planning and compliance initiatives for S-Corporations and partnerships
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on accounting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private practice
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
