Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios, including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for corporate clients
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting integrity
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations and risk assessments
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues
- Leverage accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) to automate and streamline processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Experience with forensic accounting or internal controls implementation
