Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for corporate clients
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and QuickBooks Pro
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis and internal controls
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
