Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal controls audits and SOX documentation
- Coordinate tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
