Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead tax preparation activities and maintain tax documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
