Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly distribution
- Conduct tax preparation and compliance for corporate entities
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of US tax regulations (NC-specific a plus)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
