Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting for stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead tax preparation and filing processes for corporate entities
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Conduct audits and reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and subsidiary ledgers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven track record of managing financial reporting for $50M+ organizations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance leaders
- Experience with ERP system implementations and process optimization
