Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory accuracy
- Lead tax preparation processes and optimize financial strategies for multi-state operations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and audit procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Develop customized financial models and KPI dashboards for client decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements through automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA knowledge
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and auditing standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial portfolios with $10M+ revenue
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and variance analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
