Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Streamline accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Proven experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams (supervisory role)
- Knowledge of California tax regulations and industry standards
