Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and present executive-level financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial controls and reporting systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
