Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Lead internal audits and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting software and procedures

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP principles and tax compliance (IRS, Texas state)
