Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for multiple entities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Mentor junior staff and cross-departmental finance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Missouri tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance and reporting
