Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate reconciliation of all accounts
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads
- Maintain fixed asset register and coordinate depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
