Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.Process payroll and ensure accurate deductions and tax withholdings.Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in general accounting.Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations is highly preferred.Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
