Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead tax planning initiatives and provide strategic advisory services to high-net-worth clients
- Oversee payroll processing and 401(k) administration for corporate clients
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel techniques
- Conduct internal audits and forensic accounting investigations
- Mentor junior accountants and foster cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA designation required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and international accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing high-volume client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
