Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and ensure timely processing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership
- Coordinate external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for department heads
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
