Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and corporate cards
- Collaborate on audit preparations and regulatory reporting
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in California
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel advanced functions
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (CA, NY, TX)
