Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for 15+ clients
- Prepare complex tax returns and ensure compliance with KY state regulations
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online
- Develop cash flow forecasts and variance analysis for executive decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise 3-4 team members
- Collaborate with CFOs to optimize financial strategies for mid-sized enterprises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot required)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and KY tax legislation
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
