Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse business entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize financial strategies
- Mentor junior accountants and maintain accurate financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Proven track record in financial analysis and process optimization
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
