Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ high-profile clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with variance analysis
- Develop automated financial reporting dashboards in Excel/Power BI
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior accountants on financial best practices
- Optimize tax strategies for multi-state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years experience
- CPA certification required
- Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP
- Advanced Excel modeling skills with VBA knowledge
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven audit coordination background
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Detroit metro area residency preferred
