Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific accounting standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Active CPA license or working towards certification
