Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end closes
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Analyze variance reports and recommend process improvements
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Indiana tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing or construction accounting a plus
