Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for agricultural tax incentives
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in Fresno's agricultural sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of California agricultural tax regulations
