Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Prepare detailed financial statements and tax documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing operational costs
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience managing accounting staff and developing talent within finance departments
