Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Lead accounts payable/receivable teams and process improvements
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations
