Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including processing invoices and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure all tax filings are submitted on time.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
