Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly/quarterly financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and optimize cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and industry-specific standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
