Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for multi-state operations
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement controls
- Maintain and optimize ERP system (NetSuite) functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage month-end close with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
