Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors for smooth examinations
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for seamless financial data management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Provide expert guidance to junior accountants and finance interns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated experience with financial statement preparation and complex reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
