Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and payment terms
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and vendor statements monthly
- Execute payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and check processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation systems
- Collaborate with purchasing and accounting teams for seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
