Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
