Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and bank reconciliations
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Implement process improvements using accounting automation tools
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
