Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and compliance before payment authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors and updating master data.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Perform internal audits of AP records to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Prepare and analyze AP aging reports to identify and address delinquent accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite; strong knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
