Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple client portfolios
- Manage tax preparation and compliance for corporate entities
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure smooth financial audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations and cross-border transactions
