Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
