We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and reporting in New Orleans. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
