Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Conduct comprehensive audits for corporate clients ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict attention to detail
- Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and internal controls
- Lead tax planning initiatives and provide strategic financial consulting to clients
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee team workflow during busy seasons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or regional firm
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
