Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, timely, and reconciled.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documentation and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and update internal financial controls and processes to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
