Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for department heads.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
