Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end close processes for 15-20 client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead internal/external audit coordination and compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Mentor junior accountants and review team deliverables
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings
- Develop client-facing financial dashboards and KPI reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and SOX compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- QuickBooks Online certification or demonstrable expertise
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders
