Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Oversee tax compliance filings and support annual audit preparations
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain financial records using advanced accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite accounting platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
