Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with focus on optimization and error reduction
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to enhance financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks/ERP proficiency required)
- Support tax preparation and regulatory filings under guidance of CFO
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities and process optimization mindset
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting
