Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with precision.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with monthly and annual tax preparations and filings.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
