Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare complex financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts and oversee the month-end close process.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
