Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including FLSA and multi-state payroll
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099)
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll audits
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
