The Role:

Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including data entry and verification of invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system by posting journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Process payroll inputs and maintain employee timekeeping records.
- File and organize financial documents, receipts, and vouchers for audit purposes.
- Assist the senior accountants with special projects and ad-hoc reporting needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
