Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial trends and provide strategic insights
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives for departmental goals
- Maintain and improve financial controls using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of leading successful audits and compliance initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
