Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for department heads
- Develop internal controls and audit procedures to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with tax professionals on compliance filings and tax strategy
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
