Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Lead internal audit coordination and compliance documentation for SOX requirements
- Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial audits and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
