Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting models.
- Conduct in-depth financial research and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor spending against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Streamline financial reporting processes by automating spreadsheets and implementing new software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros), and SQL.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and corporate accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, concise narratives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
